What the PW Mark asks of you

Three conditions, all checked against your records

The PW Mark is administered by the Singapore Business Federation on behalf of the Tripartite Partners. To qualify, your firm must:

1

Hire at least one covered local worker

At least one Singaporean or PR employee in a role covered by a Sectoral or Occupational Progressive Wage.

2

Pay covered workers to PW requirements

Wages, and the related training requirements, must meet the schedule for each Progressive Wage that applies to your staff.

3

Pay other locals at least the LQS

Every other local employee must earn at least the Local Qualifying Salary. We check this against the figure in force when you apply.

Progressive Wages currently cover these sectors (solid) and occupations (dashed):

PW Mark Plus adds one more step: adopting the Tripartite Standard on Advancing Well-being of Lower-Wage Workers.

FAQ

Common questions

Are you part of SBF, MOM or the government?

No. We are an independent private advisory firm. Accreditation decisions are made by the Singapore Business Federation, which administers the PW Mark. We cannot guarantee an outcome.

Do I need to share my Corppass login?

No, and you should not. Your own authorised Corppass user submits the application. We guide them through it.

We tender for government contracts. Does this affect us?

Yes, if you are eligible. For tenders called from 1 Mar 2023, awarded suppliers must hold the PW Mark for the contract period, and this was extended to quotations above S$6,000 from 1 Mar 2024.

What if we have no workers in a PW-covered role?

Then your firm is not eligible for the PW Mark, and the procurement requirement does not apply to you. The free check will confirm this.

How long does accreditation last?

One year, renewed automatically while your firm continues to meet the criteria. If your wages fall below the requirements, you can lose the Mark.

How do you handle our payroll data?

We ask only for what the review needs, keep it confidentially, and delete it at the end of the engagement unless you ask us to keep it for your annual review.
